LEGISLATIVE DAY IN MADISON The Year 2011 Legislative-Day in Madison was postponed due to other activities at the Capitol Building. Another Day at the Capitol is planned for February, 2012. The Pok-A-Snoz Club was represented at the "Legislative Day at the State Capitol" in 2010 by Norm Klitzman and Ed Szachnit who met with our State Senator and State Representatives and their respective staffs. This trip was supported and organized by the AWSC through our Portage County Alliance. It took place on Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Under consideration, and important to our snowmobiling communities, were SB406 & AB598 (Annual trail use fees) and AB841 (OWI related). The AWSC is planning another for mid-January 2012. Information will be provided as these plans firm up.
